On The Easel
This is where I share works in progress from the studio. Each piece is part of an ongoing journey-developing slowly, layer by layer, until it finds it’s final form.
A Series
Portraits of a “Gen X” Xenophobe
Currently in progress: Gen X Xenophobes, an ongoing series exploring identity, memory, media, vice, and the cultural landscape of Generation X. This page documents the development of the work as it evolves from drawing to finished painting.
Developed from concepts first explored in the mid-1990s, the series revisits those original ideas through the perspective of time, experience, and cultural change. Each painting combines symbolism, personal observation, and social commentary while documenting the evolving relationship between individual identity and contemporary life.

Studio Process
The videos below offer a glimpse into the development of the paintings as they move from graphite drawing to finished work. These recordings are intentionally informal and document the daily rhythms of the studio rather than polished demonstrations.
