Lots of Work on Xeno 4 in Life with Pets

In this 30 x 40-inch oil and canvas hardboard painting, over the course of a few weeks, I set out to use the same color pallet as the Wake of Xenophobe 4, changing the texture and lightening and deepening the color in precise areas.

Here I used grey to indicate his lack of life.

The table’s paint colors are muddy to represent that it’s unclean.

A full composition shot of his body from a distance – he almost looks silver.

Tight closeup of his face – with loose painting as if he were frantic.
